In China, a significant decline in property values and a slight drop in gold prices highlight distinct market characteristics. Conversely, Singapore exhibits positive divergence, with an increase in property prices and substantial growth in GPs. India presents a contrasting pattern with a modest uptick in property values but an alarming decline in gold prices, thus suggesting a unique economic dynamic. Robust causal relationships are identified in the cases of Iran and Russia which underscore the significant influence of specific factors on the interplay between property value and gold prices. This foundational investigation emphasizes the necessity of tailored, context specific analyses and underscores the fluid nature of the relationship between the real estate and precious metal markets.
